Acts 2:43-47 (CEB)
43 A sense of awe came over everyone. God performed many wonders and signs through the apostles. 44 All the believers were united and shared everything. 45 They would sell pieces of property and possessions and distribute the proceeds to everyone who needed them. 46 Every day, they met together in the temple and ate in their homes. They shared food with gladness and simplicity. 47 They praised God and demonstrated God’s goodness to everyone. The Lord added daily to the community those who were being saved.
Hi Family and Friends,
Today we finish the two-part series #CHURCHTOO, with today’s message titled “Hope Chest History and Discovery.” We take a look at my personal “hope chest” to learn more about the chest itself, and the contents that it contains. You are challenged with this example to consider our own “hope chest” and the “hope chest” of the church itself. Then you are challenged to consider the “hope chest” of other people, cultures and contexts. Until we learn more about others and what their true story truly is, we will never heal from some dark chapters pf our church history, nor will we be able to heal the division that exist in America and throughout the world. We are glad you joined us for today’s message, and we encourage you to be sure to listen to Part I of this series first, before listening to Part II.

Thank you for listening and for supporting our ministry.
